A typical producer is a developer with three to five years of production experience. The producer is usually in charge of a single game, responsible for delivering the game on time, on budget, to requirements and at the highest quality possible while keeping the team focused and enthusiastic. A producer’s focus is on the development process rather than dictating creative content on a project. The producer reports to the executive producer and is one of the most visible people on a team, managing and communicating the game development plan.
